As you answer each question, you will be guided accordingly.
Properties without title deeds can in some instances be used to obtain loans. However there is a limited set of financiers who accept these, and you may have to use an alternative form of security. Document any alternative security you may have besides this property.
Plant and machinery, as well as stocks can sometimes be used as security. Some financiers may not, however, readily accept these. Where they are accepted, there may be need for insurance and/or collateral management arrangements. You can indicate the types and values of equipment/stocks that you are proposing to use as security below.
Unfortunately we are not able to assist you with a loan at this time. All financiers require at least some form of collateral.
There are very limited loan or funding programs available for start-up businesses that are still to commence operations. If you are looking at starting up a basic, low-cost business (chicken rearing, home business etc) with start-up costs of less than US$1 000, you may consider the Empower Bank Youth Business Starter Pack.
If you have collateral security and a good business plan, we may be able to assist subject to further evaluation of your business idea.
The assistance that we are able to provide you with at this stage is refining your business idea through the Potential Start-up membership or if you are already decided on what you want to do, you can join as a Premium Member to get assistance with starting up and growing your business. Should you still want to proceed with the application, you can complete the details below.
For loss-making businesses, the only available funding options would be invoice discounting and order finance. It will not be possible to secure working capital and asset finance loans for a loss-making business. Should you need assistance with dealing with a loss-making business which needs capitalisation or restructuring, you can contact us on Whatsapp or via e-mail on customerservice@smeaz.org.zw .
You can apply for invoice discounting or order finance from the options below.
For a business at break-even, it will be possible to obtain order finance or invoice discounting. Depending on the business case, it may also be possible to obtain working capital and/or asset finance, but chances of getting it are low.
